Most Popular - Pick 6 Use 4 Setup Explained

If you’re looking for a complete and ready-to-play PGA Golf pool, look no further! There’s no easier way to do it than with our Default Pool Setup: Pick 6, Use 4.

HOW IT WORKS

Everyone picks a team of 6 golfers from 6 different tiers based on odds to win. The best 4 of 6 scores relative to par make your team score. The best team score wins the pool. Cut golfers (and anyone who doesn’t finish 4 rounds) get 80 for any rounds not completed. Playoff holes do not count. Tiebreaker: guess the winning golfers final score.

HOW TO SETUP

  1. Create Your Pool: Free for pools with four (4) or fewer entries! $20 per pool if more than 4.
  2. Invite Your Friends: Copy the invitation, then text or email your friends the link to join.
  3. Follow Along Live: Your poolies will love the live leaderboard. Sit back and enjoy the golf tournament, confident that your pool is running smoothly.

SCORING SETTINGS

The options and settings below are pre-set automatically once you’ve created your golf pool.

DEFAULT SCORING:

To-Par Scoring, Best 4 of 6 Scores Used:

Everyone picks a team of 6 golfers. The best four (4) to-par scores form your team score. The best team score wins the pool.

DEFAULT SETTING FOR CUT GOLFERS:

Cut golfers (and anyone who doesn’t finish 4 rounds) get a score of 80 for any rounds not completed. Playoff holes do not count.

DEFAULT PICKSHEET SETUP:

Your pool picksheet will be split into six (6) tiers with ten (10) golfers in each tier sorted by Odds (Tier 6 will have the remainder of the field)

DEFAULT TIEBREAKER OPTION:

Your poolies will be required to submit a tiebreaker score when they submit their team using the picksheet. The default tiebreaker setting will use the closest guess to the winning golfer's score (it doesn't matter if it's higher or lower).

DEFAULT SIGNUP DEADLINE SETTING:

Your pool will be set to automatically close at the first tee time of the tournament. If the start times have yet to be posted, the time will be 7 am and will automatically update once the first time is set. Only the pool admin will be able to add or edit entries once the pool deadline has passed.
